WAKEFIELD, Mass.—Anbaric Development Partners, a Massachusetts-based developer of renewable energy transmission, issued the following statement from its CEO, Edward Krapels, following the awarding of the first round of offshore wind energy procurement from the Energy Diversity Act of 2016 and a procurement in Rhode Island:
“We applaud the Commonwealth, particularly the vision of the Baker Administration and leaders in the Legislature, for completing the first offshore wind procurement under the Energy Diversity Act. Today’s announcement signals the beginning of an important new industry in Massachusetts as well as Rhode Island. As the region seeks to sustain and grow its leadership in offshore wind generation, we look forward to playing a role in developing the critical transmission infrastructure that will be needed to build an industry and realize the full potential of offshore wind development.”
